Silence
Silence is a blessing. In today’s noisy world, you can always
hear some noises. At home, you can hear the noises of cars, bikes, aero planes,
vendors and hawkers yelling, children shouting, birds chirping and many more.
Between all these noises, it is indeed a relief to find a few moments of
silence.
Silence ignites creativity. It allows you to think, reducing
distractions. It brings new and innovative ideas, and allows you to build on
them. It lets you focus on your task, whether you’re writing, drawing or
painting, let’s you do it peacefully. It allows you to daydream without any interruptions.
Silence has a strong impact. When you speak, you always have
to pause at the right moments to let your words sink in. In speeches, there are
always some parts when you have to become silent, which has a dramatic impact
on the audience.
Silence is also an essential part of good conversation. There
are parts when you have to become silent to allow the other to speak, and when
the other becomes silent while you speak. There are also chunks of time when
both sides become silent. This adds to the beauty and intricacy of
conversation.
In life , there are times when you have to do nothing but
remain silent, because it is the most appropriate thing to do. Sometimes when
you hear certain kinds of news, you become silent upon hearing them. You become
silent when you don’t know what to say. There are also certain kinds of
gatherings where it is only polite to remain silent.
Sometimes, silence is very uncomfortable. It makes you tense
and worried at the same time. It makes you wish that someone would say
something, anything. This usually happens when some different people meet for
the first time.
Silence is a part of life. It can occur during any part of
the day or night, and can be long or short. Sometimes you may get tired of
silence and wish for some noise and excitement. At other times, you might get
tired of your busy and noisy life and desire a few moments of silence.
Wow, this is intense. But you know what I think? Silence is really depressing after a few minutes. If there was no noise in the world, we would probably not be able to survive because we would not know all that we do know. Don't you think so?
ReplyDeleteYes that is true. But it's sometimes a relief to find a few moments of silence.
DeleteNice! I love the different examples you've given for silence! It's true we sometimes want to escape from the chaotic world of noise. I think we need a balance between silence and noise though! Too much noise isn't good for us, but too much silence can make things feel quite lonely. XD This is great! Keep writing!
