Who's your Favourite Author?

 I have added a poll on my blog in which you have to vote on who's your Favourite Author. The time is limited for voting and please give your vote. The results will be shown next month. Kindly vote on your favourite Author. If it is not one of those who I've mentioned, select the one you like best from the options available. The authors mentioned are well known and I hope you've read their books.

    Oh my God!!! it is very difficult to choose one from them as I like 3 authors in the list... So I am confused whom should I vote...

    The poll says it closed - J.K. Rowling got the most votes. :) Btw, did you know that J.K. Rowling published an 8th Harry Potter book? I think it's a short story. I knew an 8th would come out! XD

      Yeah, the poll's closed, and WHAT? An 8th Harry Potter?! The story had ended pretty well in the last part (Deathly Hallows)

      I think it's a rumor going around about the 8th Harry potter. I searched it on google and some sites say it's a hoax and some say it is coming out. Is it published yet? Have you seen it in print?

      Yes, I'm pretty sure it's published. Or at least in the UK. That's what I thought; it ended. But apparently, I think it's about Harry's life as an adult. Just a short story or something. No, I haven't actually seen it, but I'll check fantasticfiction or my library site... be right back.

      Actually, it's an online book. She published it on pottermore.com. Yeah, it's about Harry as an adult. So no, it wouldn't be in book shops.

Short Story~The Storm

Here is a story that I wrote recently on a topic of a past O level paper. Please keep in mind while reading it that this is the third draft  of the story. Feedback would be taken seriously and appreciated. An instantaneous splash of water landing on the deck woke up the sailor. He leapt out of bed and hurried up to the deck, hoping that all was well. The situation was worse than he had anticipated. It was raining cats and dogs, accompanied by a very strong gale. The roar of thunder indicated the beginning of a storm. The bottom of the ship was already flooded about six inches deep with water and its level was increasing with the rain. The sailor quickly rang the siren for help and grabbed some buckets. Sleepy-eyed men came out of their cabins to help and he directed them towards the flooded area, where he handed out buckets and yelled out instructions. Poetry: To Dream

Hey there! I wrote a poem. This one took a lot more thought and effort than most of my poems - which are usually spontaneous, raw and emotional - that I don't post anywhere. I thought a lot about this idea and took almost a week to complete it. I also had to cut out several words, rearrange certain stanzas, and rewrite it a couple of times. I'm quite pleased with the result though - I think this is the best piece of poetry I've managed to write so far.  I would appreciate some feedback on it, if you have any, as I know this is far from perfect. Also, let me know if you have any suggestions for what kind of poetry I might write next. I could do with some new ideas.
