Website Review: Lumosity

I recently visited this website called www.lumosity.com and I think it's a great website so I'm writing about it.

This website is about developing and training your brain through various brain games. There are five categories; Speed, Memory, Attention, Flexibility, and Problem Solving. When you first sign up, they ask you some questions about you to know about your brain. They are based on what are your strong points and what you need to develop. Then, according to your answers, they recommend the games. You will get a score according to your progress and you will see yourself improve.


You can play many games for free, but to have complete access to the whole site, you have to pay a fixed amount of money per month.

 I think this is a good chance to develop yourself according to what your brain needs. Besides, these games are better than the usual computer games.

    Wow, coincidence! I recently posted my website review on ROBLOX on my blog! Awesome review too, Fatima! I love how you've described Lumosity and what you can do on it. I also have a Lumosity account I made a while ago - I agree the games are great! Another funny thing is that I signed up on Lumosity with my Gmail, and since I'm following your blog with the same account, the message saying that you'd posted it came up in the "Promotions" section, where the Lumosity messages go. Must've been a glitch. Anyway, keep it up with the good writing! <3

Short Story~The Storm

Here is a story that I wrote recently on a topic of a past O level paper. Please keep in mind while reading it that this is the third draft  of the story. Feedback would be taken seriously and appreciated. An instantaneous splash of water landing on the deck woke up the sailor. He leapt out of bed and hurried up to the deck, hoping that all was well. The situation was worse than he had anticipated. It was raining cats and dogs, accompanied by a very strong gale. The roar of thunder indicated the beginning of a storm. The bottom of the ship was already flooded about six inches deep with water and its level was increasing with the rain. The sailor quickly rang the siren for help and grabbed some buckets. Sleepy-eyed men came out of their cabins to help and he directed them towards the flooded area, where he handed out buckets and yelled out instructions. Poetry: To Dream

Hey there! I wrote a poem. This one took a lot more thought and effort than most of my poems - which are usually spontaneous, raw and emotional - that I don't post anywhere. I thought a lot about this idea and took almost a week to complete it. I also had to cut out several words, rearrange certain stanzas, and rewrite it a couple of times. I'm quite pleased with the result though - I think this is the best piece of poetry I've managed to write so far.  I would appreciate some feedback on it, if you have any, as I know this is far from perfect. Also, let me know if you have any suggestions for what kind of poetry I might write next. I could do with some new ideas.
