A Story on an Animal: Lizard

I shared this very short story on the Thinkers' Club Blog, and I'm sharing it here too. It is a little different from the Original Version, but is written by me.

 Just as I got out of my hiding place under the bed, A girl entered the room. I stayed still, hoping to be unnoticed, but her terrible eyes spotted me and she screamed so loudly, that my ears hurt! I ran back under the bed, terrified! I  was so frightened that someone would kill me if I came out, so I stayed inside all day long until night. And when everything was quiet and everyone fell asleep, I changed my home to a safer place with other creatures of my kind.

    Awesome piece of writing! ^^ At the moment I'm writing a few short paragraphs about a wolf. But it's really hard, because I'm not a wolf. XD

      Oh it's quite easy, you just have to think yourself as an wolf, and write anything that comes in your mind, as a wolf

Short Story~The Storm

Here is a story that I wrote recently on a topic of a past O level paper. Please keep in mind while reading it that this is the third draft  of the story. Feedback would be taken seriously and appreciated. An instantaneous splash of water landing on the deck woke up the sailor. He leapt out of bed and hurried up to the deck, hoping that all was well. The situation was worse than he had anticipated. It was raining cats and dogs, accompanied by a very strong gale. The roar of thunder indicated the beginning of a storm. The bottom of the ship was already flooded about six inches deep with water and its level was increasing with the rain. The sailor quickly rang the siren for help and grabbed some buckets. Sleepy-eyed men came out of their cabins to help and he directed them towards the flooded area, where he handed out buckets and yelled out instructions. Poetry: To Dream

Hey there! I wrote a poem. This one took a lot more thought and effort than most of my poems - which are usually spontaneous, raw and emotional - that I don't post anywhere. I thought a lot about this idea and took almost a week to complete it. I also had to cut out several words, rearrange certain stanzas, and rewrite it a couple of times. I'm quite pleased with the result though - I think this is the best piece of poetry I've managed to write so far.  I would appreciate some feedback on it, if you have any, as I know this is far from perfect. Also, let me know if you have any suggestions for what kind of poetry I might write next. I could do with some new ideas.
